Our back yard |
Our geocaching adventure led us to these anomalies today!
First home cooked meal in the new house...simple but yummy!
One of our traditions...the first thing to be hung...the crucifix!
The boys thought they could start up their first business...it went well the first few days but then the construction crews started bringing their own drinks...bummer!
We just had to find other ways to keep them all busy! LOL!
We had the time to meet with our friends traveling across the great state of Texas on their way to their new duty station in Georgia. We sure wish they had ended up in San Antonio! It seemed the best place to meet them was in Marble Falls...we picked it over Austin in hopes that the traffic would be easier. So thankful for awesome small towns! Too bad the weather only allowed us time to enjoy a meal at one of the local favorites! The downpours lasted all day but it was worth the drive to see them before they moved on down the road!
We could not resist a few stops even in the rain...we thankfully had the weather hold for a little bit to make these stops.
A sink hole that was known for burying Union sympathizers during the Civil War era.
The world's largest spur! Doesn't it look a little twisted? Maybe we should take it home with us!
And so ends our leisurely month of May! Ha ha!
